WellSpring Pharmaceutical Corporation’s heritage is built on trusted brands. Founded in 1999 by Dr. Robert Vukovich, the international corporation strives to provide products with unmatched quality. Every over-the-counter drug marketed by WellSpring benefits from proven expertise in prescription drug ethicality. The company’s promise to the consumer is inherent in its commitment to quality brands and its commitment to quality performance.
During the year of its inception, WellSpring acquired two prescription medications that serve as the basis for the company’s business model. These medicines provide treatment for diseases affecting niche groups of people and would not exist without WellSpring. The company’s focus has been and continues to be on the provision of treatments and peace of mind to many in need of both.
WellSpring purchased its FDA- and HPB-regulated manufacturing facility in 2001. Located in Ontario, Canada, the one hundred thousand square foot facility has passed several inspections since 2002, facilitating its use as a contract manufacturing plant. This ability provides WellSpring the opportunity to manufacture medicines for other companies while ensuring the same ethical assembly methods are employed in the generation of any product. WellSpring’s qualified employees are committed to producing the best possible medicines for consumers. Able to seamlessly handle all pharmaceutical industry issues from documentation for regulation to on-time delivery in global markets, WellSpring’s Ontario plant produces tablets, liquids and semi-solids in a world class facility that benefits from consistent investment in capital improvements.
WellSpring added three over-the-counter products to its line in 2008, providing the opportunity to treat those with everyday afflictions, as well as those in need of prescription medication. The acquisition of Gelusil®, Micatin® and Emetrol® broadened both WellSpring’s reach and its staff. WellSpring expanded to a larger Sarasota location in 2009, while maintaining their strong Canadian presence. Management and staff hold themselves to a standard of excellence in both locations. WellSpring’s employees continue to recognize the enduring therapeutic value of both specialty drugs for smaller groups of patients and quality over-the-counter-products. Their rigorous standards of quality control, product testing and validation provide medications that help you live a healthier life.
